Clergy at St Matthew's

Father Richard Bastable

Father Richard assumed the distinguished role of Priest-in-Charge at St. Matthew's in October 2021, bringing with him a distinguished background originating from Worcestershire.

Father Richard's erudition in theology was honed at venerable institutions including Exeter and Cambridge. In a testament to his ecclesiastical dedication, he diligently fulfilled curacies in both Ruislip and Holborn.

Since 2013, he has presided as Vicar at St. Luke's W12, seamlessly harmonising this responsibility with his ministry at St. Matthew's.

Beyond his pastoral duties, Fr. Richard finds deep fulfillment in the realms of art, music, and the exploration of the wider world.
